Redwood AI Announces Chemical Pricing and Availability System Update to Its AI-Powered Platform, Supported by Government of Canada Innovation Funding

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESS Newswire / April 23, 2026 / Redwood AI Corp. (CSE:AIRX)(OTCQB:RDWCF)(Frankfurt:Y0N, WKN:A422EZ) (“Redwood” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce a significant update to the chemical pricing and availability capabilities (the “Update“) within its AI-powered chemical synthesis platform, Reactosphere. The Update is supported in part by advisory services and research and development funding provided to Redwood AI Operations Inc., Redwood AI’s wholly owned subsidiary, from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP)[1]. The enhanced platform is designed to help chemists and procurement teams make faster, better-informed sourcing decisions in a global market where pricing, availability, tariffs, and logistics can shift quickly, improving cost certainty and supply reliability across the chemical value chain.[2]

The update expands Redwood’s vendor intelligence capabilities to monitor chemical availability and pricing across more than 90 vendors worldwide. By broadening coverage and improving data refresh workflows, the Company believes users will be able to identify alternative suppliers sooner, reduce delays caused by stockouts, and strengthen purchasing resilience when markets tighten. Critically, the provision of multiple global vendors is a unique aspect of the platform, enabling usage by many client bases who utilize a diverse array of chemical supply vendors.

To help customers navigate real-world supply constraints, the system can be filtered by service provider, allowing users to evaluate options based on region or company-specific sourcing conditions. This is intended to support decisions impacted by tariffs, shipping timelines, and other cross-border logistics factors, enabling teams to compare feasible alternatives without losing critical context on where material is located and how it can be delivered.

The updated platform can also incorporate clients’ own internal pricing and availability data alongside external vendor signals, enabling a more complete and customized view of sourcing options. In addition, Redwood’s system can integrate a client’s chemical inventory, supporting faster checks against on-hand materials and helping teams align purchasing decisions with what is already available internally.

Redwood expects that these enhancements will further strengthen its pricing infrastructure by improving data coverage, flexibility, and integration, capabilities that can be especially valuable for organizations managing complex chemical inputs, tight timelines, and cost-sensitive research and production programs.

The Company believes these enhancements position Reactosphere as a valuable solution for pharmaceutical companies, contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), and research institutions that rely on complex global chemical supply chains, as well as for defense and public safety applications where visibility into chemical sourcing and availability is critical.

This update is about turning chemical sourcing into a faster, more defensible decision process, not a scramble. By combining broad global vendor visibility with each customer’s internal pricing and inventory context, we can help teams reduce downtime, avoid costly substitutions, and plan with more confidence when trade conditions shift. It also sets the foundation for more proactive procurement, giving teams earlier signals on supply risks and alternate sourcing options before disruptions impact timelines or budgets, further supporting adoption of the platform across pharmaceutical, R&D, and defense applications,” said Louis Dron, CEO of Redwood AI.
